Since 2005, almost every year the Academy has organized "A Fil di Spada - La Maratona di Scherma" ("By The Edge Of The Sword - The Fencing Marathon"), The main italian event dedicated to modern fencing and to its union with Arts and Show Business. The fencing performance have always been set in some of the most beautiful italian squares, or with the background of Rome's most famous monuments, enhancing these events with some "natural" set design which are really breathtaking.
